BB guns are not illegal in New Jersey, but they are considered firearms, the same as actual firearms. This means that any rules governing real guns also govern BB guns.

Again, they are not illegal, but are just regulated in the same way as a real firearm.
 
it might not be illegal to buy them, but its most likely illegal to use it in public, only allowed in your home or land.
