If anyone knows anything about cooking....?

I was about to make Clam Sauce and put it over pasta...i realized I had everything BUT the White Wine.....can it be made without it or is the White Wine a key ingredient?
I know its goin on 9 00, but I dont like what my mom made for dinner, so I sometimes cook my own dinner......cooking is a hobby of mine

First, Wrong section. No one here will know what the heck your talking about. Luckily, I happen to know quite a lot about cooking. Have you put the clam sause on yet? If not then you can just put a little wine in there and stir it nicely. If you have put it on then its fine if you dont put it in.

As far as I know, no you don't NEED the white wine.
It wont taste the same but you don't NEED it. Google a substitute for white wine?
