..."they" consider harmful? if they pay for your healthcare they can theoretically have the last word on what you can do with it,..liberals can now say how much people are allowed to make..they are already attacking fast food ,and they tax trans-fat in N.Y.....
are they going to try and outlaw meat altogether,as well as other foods?
 
I wouldn't put it pass them if they cut off Health Care for people that choose to live unhealthy life styles. Hell, they did it to the private industries and financial institutes receiving the bailouts.

I feel sorry for anyone that wants to eat a a McDonalds or smokes and looses their Health Care.
 
You betcha they will do it. Chicago has already shown they are very willing to legislate what people eat.
 
what do you mean IF, they have already started with the tax on cigarettes. i know this won't affect non-smokers but when you punish one group, you can easily punish another.

watch out overweight people, those who like to drink on occasion, or a lot, diabetics...who is next?....YOU!
 
Every plan offered has allowed you to CHOOSE the plan you want.

If you want to keep BC/BS or Kaiser or whatever.....you can.

Every plan offered makes no effort for government to control SERVICES, just reform health insurance (which is long overdue, given the rise of cost, and other factors).

With that said....

Scientific studies into care that WORKS would benefit us all. I don't want our system burdened by useless procedures....and given the profits available in health care....there are many.

If science doesn't prove something as useful.....then you can always pay for it yourself.
 
Wow, all of the sudden you guys are scared, yet no one seems concerned with wiretapping......makes no sense?
 
They may not outlaw things, but they sure will tax the snot out of those things. How can you spend money if you don't raise taxes? Oh wait! Another stimulus.

Wait and see how expensive health care is once it is free.

The Postal Service is broke, Amtrak runs billions of dollars in the red, Social Security and Medicare are going bankrupt and we think that the same fools that run them can run our medical system?
