...would you read it? A modern 'Odyssey', or 'Beowulf' perhaps, written with present-day characters, values and dialogue? Would you prefer to read the new version, or go straight to the old one?
Or would you prefer authors to leave those famous stories alone?
FYI, I am not an author, this is not a demographic survey. Actually it's both general curiosity and an experiment to find out whether I'll drop back to level 3 when the 5 points for asking a question are taken off me. Just in case you were wondering.
