have? Would we go back to cavemen dragging cavewomen by the hair or would things be a bit more sophisticated? Like the cavewoman perhaps would throw a rock at his head to signal that she's interested, he drags her by the hair... and this all foreplay.

Discuss.
Eoghan, I hear you're one of those feminist types who wants cavewomen to throw as many rocks at your head as possible... haha

mmm the majority of prehistory civilizations where an equalist base, lot where matriarchs. Look at the native american tribes.

the cave man dragging hair, is based on old cartoons...which arnt exactly accurate.

i can't really predict, but with many relationships being about power, i reckon there would be a lot more raping and murdering going on.

the best way to know would be if cavepeople had written down what they thought, and that would give an insight into how they behaved. i suppose the survival of the fittest would take over in a big way.

I think that the brain has developed beyond this and that it is impossible to return to having women being dragged around by their hair. If for no other reason that women would kill the man as he slept. The brain is much larger now in general but men would still need women more than women needed men. Men no matter what age need women to act like mothers and sex objects.

You can change civilization but you can't change knowledge or opinions nearly so easily.

I doubt the "caveman" stereotype has a lot to do with real people. Even aboriginal societies have very strict rules and conduct.
