scales when soloing/ playing bass? I'm getting in to playing jazz on bass. I know how to find out what key a song is in by looking at the sharps and flats. But when i'm "walking" on bass, which is basically soloing, how do i know which scale to play by. Like if the song is in F, how do i know if i play the Major, minor, melodic minor, etc? Thanks!
