...pls help??!? im just wondering for research. lets say a random gangster killed a girl and ran away and the police found and identified the body with the help of a witness. would the story be released? can a witness ask to keep the story private? thanks for all yer help.
 
I think the story can be kept private, but I don't think the news crew would honor your request if they deemed the news good enough. There are many murder cases that do not get on the news for whatever reason. I really think only certain murder cases get on the news if deemed that the local audience would really care about it, such as a person of a certain race killing another person of another race, etc etc stuff like that. Really depends on what the media deems worthy.
