im 16 and my boyfriend is 18 and im pregnant and we both love each other and plan to spend the rest of our lives together so would he go to jail for me being pregnant

He might or he might not.
It depends how pissed off your parents get.
 
It makes a difference in which state you live and if your boyfriend was 18 when the baby was conceived. The old term was statutory rape , because being under the age of consent you cant legally consent to sex. Now it would likely be a sexual assault and may be a misdemenor.
 
Hey. I m not laywer. But read 261.5 of the penal code. That's probably what you wanted to know. To quote it:
" 261.5 (b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual
intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or
three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor."
 
It really depends. Your parents could easily press charges, and since he's only 2 years older than you it most likely won't be a felony but it is still a crime. It all depends on whether or not any charges are pressed. I don't think the cops will come to your door or anything but if someone decides to complain he can be arrested.

It depends on your jurisdiction (you didn't say). In some jurisdiction he can't be 3 years older than you (so in this case he would be OK) BUT in other jurisdictions he can't be 18 or older, so in that case he would go to jail were he could be raped and murdered by phycho criminals; and even if he survive jail he still would have to carry a Sex Offender tag for the rest of his life.

So you really need to know how's the law in your jurisdiction.
