if a jew breaks a dinnerplate do they have to bury it in the garden?

If a jew steals money from you, well you get it back?

No, they'll claim you killed 6,000,000 jews even though it was because the Allies were bombing the hell out of roads and factories in germany.

I have never heard of such tradition. There is though a tradition in an Ashkenazi(European Jewish) wedding that before the wedding ceremony begins, the parents of the bride and bridegroom sign a document and break a plate together. The document is called Tena'im. Many believed that the breaking plates is a Greek tradition, that isn't entirely the case. It was practiced in European Jewish communities a while before and even today its not deeply rooted in both traditions. In Greece, its illegal for safety reasons to break plates, which was traditionally done by throwing it to the feet of the dancer/singer etc or in celebration, in public and has since been replaced with flowers. And breaking plates during Tena'im signing is mainly done in Ashkenazi Orthodox Judaism.

Oooh. Yes, but only if they "break" it by not remembering whether it is a Fleichic plate or a Milchic plate. You can re-kasher plates and flatware and bowls and such that way. For pots and pans, it's a buit harder if I recall, and may require a blow-torch and a Chabad guy. If they actually shatter the plate, and don't intend ever to use it again, then no. You just chuck it as far as I know.

If captain kirk asks a pointless, meaningless question does he deserve to die? Simple question, simple answer. It might be his birthday...

I don't think so. If you are reasonable try to break one yourself and see what happens. If you are a jew... don't be scared unless your mom is going to kill you or something.
