If a guy looks at you and then tries to look away when you look at him does that

mean he likes you? there is this guy that I like and i was at church with him and i was sitting behind him and a little to the left and i would always see him look out of the corner of his eye at me (like every other minuet) and he would actually turn around and look right into my eyes like every 5 min and when i was walking out with my aunt he was looking at me the whole time but he looked really sad (we were walking arm in arm for a bit then sort of in a hug like right in front of him) but he has done this a lot but this time he has looked at me the most i have ever seen
