So I've been talking to this guy I met at a gathering for a week now. After the first few days of talking, he asked me out for dinner, but I told him I did not date, and would rather pursue a friendly relationship, that could perhaps become serious when we were willing to settle down. We, still however, text everyday for pretty much the whole day. Ever since I told him I don't date, he actually seems more interested and our conversations have become a lot more mature.
He knows I will not hang out with him one on one alone, nor am I into the whole bf-gf label, and I'm definitely remaining untouched before I get married. If he knows he has no chance of ANYTHING for at least a couple of years other than talking to me and meeting me at future gatherings, but is still interested could he be the genuine guy I'm looking for?
