If a guy is complaining to everyone around you but not to you and is still

polite to you...? is he just less comfortable around you because he doesn' t know you as well or could he be slightly interested? He was grumpy and complaining to everyone else about stuff, but when I was came by him (in the midst of his grumpiness), he was nice and polite to me. I didn't see him grouchy.
