shed, or give birth in the open?
Just asking because a few months ago we took in an abandoned kitten, kept her inside for about 2 months, let her outside a couple of weeks ago and she won't come back in but she isn't neutered/spayed yet. Can't get her to come inside.

Worried that she'll get pregnant and have a litter in our back garden because we have a Yorkie - they play together all the time now (not at the begining) But we don't know how our Yorkie would react to stumbling across a litter of kittens or how the cat would react to that - when or should it ever happen? Thanks.
We did take her to the vet for vaccines etc initially but didn't get her spayed then (even vet told us not to bother until we were sure she was going to stay as cats can just boom, go)
Believe you me, we have tried repeatedly to get her inside...can't. She runs. We sit outside, we sit just inside the door etc etc - she just doesn't wanna come in which seems strange to us.
