1991 ford explorer with six cyl. 4.0L pushrod v-6 engine idle speed is at 500 rpm. Can this idle speed be adjusted? and what rpm should it be? None of my shop manuals indicate idle speed just that it is preset. Could it be in the IAC idle air control valve? Any help greatly appreciated.
