Identify this show?

I was travelling to Los Angeles in 2004, and I came across a show about some kids and dinosaurs. If memory serves, it resolved the kids either being stuck back in the past, or on a king kong like lost island and trying to get back.

I watched some of it, but couldn't finish all of it due to time and never got the title of the show.... It looked rather recent, but I was wondering if anyone knew what it might be?

Sounds like Land of the Lost, but that wasn't animated and was much older.

I was going to say Valley of the Dinosaurs, but that wasn't recent. VotD ran during the 70's.

could it be denver the last dinosaur (there were some episodes where they traveled back in time) or dino riders

This series could have been Cadfillacs and Dinosaurs.

I don't think it was a Saturday morning thing. And I am almost 100% certain it was fully animated in a decent cartoon style (not toony, but not quite realistically serious either). It was at least an hour long, so I think it might have been a movie... Currently trying to check imdb or google to see if anything looks familair.

Dinotopia sort of sounds familiar...but that's not quite the look I remember.
