Identification of ancient fragments

the very best, basic way to actually be able to even tell this would be to see bone upon a scan, and that would be a good series X ray or even a good CT? but usually when anyone has actually suffered ANY level of real fracture, you most certainly can tell even with just x ray by the way the bone actually heals(even with very old ones). it does kind of leave behind its own form of 'scarring' where the two places 'knit' back togehter again? other than that, i seriously would not think there could really be any other way than actually seeing that bone with the scans and then a good radiologist reading the hardfilms(thats pretty standard). they would then issue a report on it that would then simply be sent to whoever the ordering doc was who referred you for it or had it done? then its a matter of seeing your doc for the results.

is there a particular reason that any 'old' fractures are just really needing to be known about or are you just wondering here? only part of our nose is actually bone and its not as much as you would probably might think actually(the "bridge" of the nose and down the sides closest to the face). the rest is more cartiledge? I'll tell you why. No doctor referred me to be examined, im just wondering. Because since the beginning of adolescence (I'm still in progress), kind of a little hump grew on my nose, and I started to mess with my nose, and lots of thoughts came to my mind, like if one of the blows I received in the face while I was a child (say clashes inside, back flips that ended in the face, etc.) may have caused fracture and I dont remember it. I also went to ENT doc' and she said me that everything is ok. So I came to ask here, after I asked several forums were impatient. I just need to know the way to know if the shape of my nose is like to be dictated by nature, or I had some fracture that change it. Please, it's important for me psychologically as well, even to stop the obsession. :)

Good day, and sorry about the digging in your head :)

Thank you very much :) !

I would be inclined toward the natural growth of your facial bones, which are shaping into your adult face.

Men keep growing from birth till their mid 20's, and you are in a phase of your life where everything is changing. Your bone structure is still not finished, as you will continue to grow for years.

I hope that helps
