Ideas to what will be in South Park Season 14

No, not Glenn Beck. He is not making fun of him, he is downright criticizing him. Glenn Beck truly doesn't like Obama(which, even though I don't agree with him, he has every right not to like him), and what he is saying is way more serious than jokes, he truly believes Obama is ruining the country.

You don't get it, Beck isn't joking, his criticisms are not meant to be funny. I completely disagree with everything Beck says, I don't think Obama is ruining the country, but I realize that Beck, as well as many others like Hannity and Limbaugh, truly disagree with everything Obama has done and is currently doing. None of this is about jokes or comedy, all of it is purely about politics. If you went up to Beck and asked him why he was "joking" about Obama, I'm pretty sure he would be angry at you, because he is serious, and he feels that he is right about this(I'm not saying he isn't, I just don't think he is).

Yeah, you're right. This has gone too far. I was just trying to explain the difference between someone like Beck, who is serious about his reporting, and Jon Stewart, someone who is a comedian, and as such is not meant to be taken seriously, something he himself has acknowledged.

As for a subject that South Park could tackle, I think they should try and stray away from the politics. They should do more episodes like The Return of the Fellowship of the Rings to the Two Towers, you know, another episode that's about the kids just being kids. If you ask me, the show has gotten way too serious.

The Winter Olympics are coming to Canada in 2010 so Terrence and Phillip won't need to complain about not getting the Olympics. In fact they could star in an episode that takes place at the Olympics in Vancouver. They could find themselves on the Canadian hockey team in the gold medal game against the Iranians. I hope they make fun of the Iranian president.

And I hope they reveal who Mysterio(?) was, and I hope Kenny gets back with his current girl friend.

I think the Guitar Hero episode was more of a parody on how some Rock Bands are. They are great in the beginning, conflict, drugs, complete break up, etc. etc.

So a Rock Band based episode would be unnecessary.

Actually, when it comes to South Park referencing current events that you'll barely remember later, I feel that's one of the worst offenders. I saw this episode last week on Comedy Central, and I felt it had already dated pretty bad, I actually had to go "Oh yeah, I remember when that happened! Man that faded fast!" The only thing worse they could have done would have been that over-hype about the Swine Flu that was happening back then.

The thing is, I'm able to watch that episode and enjoy it simply as a great show. Even if you didn't know it was based on something, you'd think it was pretty good. IMO, anyway.

Personally, I want more episodes like Stanley's Cup. :)

I would like to see an episode of south park that parodies the lack of original ideas. But I would LOVE to see an episode around the whole Disney/marvel thing.

You have to remember that they typically don't even produce the episodes until a week right down to a few days, hell, sometimes a few hours, before airtime. They probably haven't even STARTED the season premiere yet.

Odds are if something big happens between now and Wednesday night, that's what the episode will be about.

They usually start a week in advance, so I assume this to be correct. It is better to just ignore politics and go for an old current event.
