Ideas on how to oppose (in debating) restrictions on freedom of speech?

Im debating in a school competition and need some help getting my debate started! useful websites would be great! other than that just ideas and help please! thanks
 
Speech gives us the tools to convey our ideas to others so that we may be civilized and discuss our ideas rationally. If we are inhibited in how we can discuss our ideas, how do we expect to have a functioning government of the people, for the people and by the people?
