Ideas for photography?

Maybe sit down with a pad of paper, a pen, and a cup of tea or coffee(and a coffee cake^^) and just think about things that you like. I myself like music and a lot of songs motivate me to be myself and to not let anyone tell me who to be, so I would take pictures of some record stores. If skating motivates you, then take pictures of a skate park.

okay, so for my photo class i have to shoot ten pictures that portray motivation. I'm not entirely sure where to start or go with this. Any ideas on things to shoot? Anything at all would be helpful.

Brain Storm
Taking pictures of objects with a high contrast of light. (One side brightly lit the other side shadowed.)
Changing setting of the camera, higher contrast images, or black and white, only if the camera lets you. Otherwise the images could be digitally edited in photo shop, or another similar program.
Taking images of fruit is always fun, making different compositions, peeling the fruit extra.
Any house hold object can become a piece of art if positioned carefully.
Taking pictures out of focus can also give a good effect.
