Ideas for art assemblage?

I have to created an assemblage and the topic is time. It has to use something old and something new - past/future kinda thing. I'm thinking of doing something that shows a frog's life cycle, though not really sure on a final design - still thinking on ideas.

So if anyone had any ideas for what I could do for an assemblage on time I would gladly appreciated it.
