Ideas for a Project (Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition)?

My project requires a client (real person) and a program must be made to suit their needs.

Nothing like minesweeper, it has to be really professional but not too hard!

Something with tables like a car rental system.

Anyone done anything similar? Ideas, Suggestions please :)

I'm in my second year of college now and as part of A2 computing we have to do a project

We have been asked to come up with ideas of what we could do that involves programming. Ideas are databases for companies or maths/science problems that require simple animations etc
 
make a program which allows people to make quizes, so they can make a new quiz and enter questions and answers, then they can play the quiz and your program will ask random question from the quiz and the user has to provide the correct answer. then giv them a score at the end :P i made one in c# a while ago, it was fun
