So this real smart person I'm aware of (not a friend by no means), sold a car registered in Washington to a man in Idaho without being the legal owner or asking/having the legal owner sign off on the sale/title. Has a crime been committed? If so what type civil or criminal and what level of offense is it. If it's grand theft the vehicle is worth about $1500 and has about $1000 in damage caused by this person in question. Please help i want this guy to learn his lesson.
