My moms ex-husband who she is with again, so is now her boyfriend, slammed and pinned me up against a metal door because he was angry with my attitude. I was not "acting out" or having a "tantrum" throwing, breaking things, yelling, stomping feet, nothing. He told me to "Stop being a ***** and go to the room" so I looked at him and said Im not a ******* ***** and was on my way. He jumps up grabs my arms and slams me into the door in the kitchen. where I walked from. He held me there forcefully for a long time with me telling him to let go, he wouldnt, so i started pushing him and trying to kick him because he wouldt. My mom was there telling him to stop too. He wouldnt. When he finally did I went to my room and he called the cops for a "uncontrolled teenager" I have several marks and bruises on my arms, and my toe's nail had been ripped back and is bleeding and bruised. The cops got ehre and said they cant do anything about it, and to call it a night. Also said if they have to come back I would be the one going to juvie. Is there any way I can press charges against him? This is not the first time he's done that... Was it just because lazy cops who didnt want to do anything, or do i really have no options? I cant seem to find anything for idaho state laws and stuff about abuse. The cops said "This is not abuse, this is controlling the child" stuff like that. Its been almost an hour and my arms are still throbbing and my foot. If you do know anything, can you also let me know your sources? Thank you
