Some of my friends and I would like to start a small garden in our backyard. We live in California in the Bay Area, just for extra reference. We'd like to know this:
1.) How do we get started?
2.) What are some of the easiest vegetables and fruits to plant? (we were thinking lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, or maybe some herbs like thyme or sage)
3.) Should we know something about seasons/time of year to plant?
4.) How would be then maintain our garden?
I'll give BEST ANSWER to the person who answer all these questions in a bit of detail.
