id like to consider myself a amateur astronomer but i want to go a little

further with physics.? but i have no background or higher education in this area and i was always an average student in high school (i was a huge slacker though, mistakes were made) my question is as follows: with only a thirst for knowledge and understanding guiding me, how hard would u say ill struggle?!?!? i know its more of an individual basis but id like to see what people think, thanks
 
Yes, you'll struggle so much that it's not worth trying - UNLESS you are determined and prepared to study hard.

There's no rewards for slackness.
