...car when carfax doesn' sho i crashed my car and hit a man. i reported to the insurance company. i am thinking if i can repair my car myself then sell it right away that carfax doesn't even show, by not letting the insurance company cover, so that the insurance company will only cover the injured person. Will it have any problem if the car then show there is a record of being hit or wt. Actually, the only place need to be fix is my cracked front window. And will i have a lower insurance bill than letting them to pay ALL for me. P.S. I am in California.
i immediately called emergency. I mean, i reported the whole thing to DMV and police. But i am not letting the insurance company to fix my car. The insurance are paying for the injured man and i am paying for the car. Will Carfax show immediately? how long? and if i sell it right away that means carfax doesn't show, after i sell, will i get into trouble if carfax show after my car was sold? i am in CA
