Ick? I had several fish in my tank with Ick...?

BTW the two remaining fish look great... they are swimming fine now... white spots have been gone since Monday... and they are eating well.
My tank was about a month old and things seemed to be going fine when one day I looked to find my tetras had died. I had the water tested and it was in great shape... the next day another 2 fish were down and the two left had white spots...The guy at the pet shop said it was Ick... I treated the Ick...(I did my last treatment on Monday... did a partial water change and replaced the carbon filter) but now I'm down to two fish.....when is it safe to add more?
 
I had a fish that got ick, but was not successful in getting it treated - I think I did not catch it in time... Sorry, I don't have the experience to help other than to say you could probably check with a store with aquarium 'experts'. Your regular pet store clerk may know, but you might get a more accurate information (hopefully) from the aquarium departments in places like Feeders Supply or PetSmart.
