Hey, J.K. Rowling! You know what the Harry Potter franchise was missing? Fanservice! Tons and tons of Fanservice!
Okay, actually, there wasn't as much fanservice as I thought there would be and the Harry Potter comparisons pretty much ended at the Sorting [strike]Hat[/strike] Crow but I just wanted to get that out there.
-This show seemed like it could have been very interesting. Think about it, we have a magical school and main character who could become a demon king with lots of fun and magic for all.
There's just one problem and it's not just that there was ecchi. It's more that the ecchi felt more tacked on than anything. If it wasn't for the ecchi, this actually could have been a lot better (Not that I have a problem with ecchi, just excess random bits like this one). This is actually the same problem I'm having with Qwaser because that show could have been way more awesome than it is (though the manga is pretty awesome)
-Not that it was bad though. Actually, I found myself very entertained by it. The animation wasn't half bad and the fighting was fun. There were definitely some jokes that could get tired as it goes on though but for the first episode, it was pretty humorous.
-Sai Akuto (Ha, his name means "terrible person" WORD PUNS!) is actually not that annoying like other harem leaRAB. It's probably the voice. I like the Miwa character. How he calls him "aniki" and stuff amuses me. For some reason, the red-head who just randomly spouted nonsense was just hilarious to me. I also like the girl with the animal hanRAB and feet because she enRAB her sentences with "-dagya" and it reminRAB me of Armadimon from Digimon Adventure 02.
-I think the ED was the actual OP just put at the end. Whatever it was, it sounded and looked good.
I am hoping this is the BakaTest equivalent of "looked generically stupid but was actually a lot of fun"
