Ice storms are kicking my ass

I chipped in $40 last night for diesel, so we should be doing just fine. Should this last a few more days, we will be able to ride this storm out okay, even if only by the skin of our teeth.

At least this is not boring. If we're going to have disastrous weather, I'd rather it be interesting.
 
Wow dude, that's walnuts. It was a low of about 40 here last night and I was sleeping with a hoodie and two blankets and freezing my ass off!
 
Pictures part 2! I think the forecast should have called for 3 inches of ice accumulation and 8 feet of wood.

As soon as I get some fresh batteries for my camera, I'll take some more pictures of the war zone. I usually use rechargeables, but my battery charger hasn't been powered since Monday morning.
 
There's some people here that haven't had power ever since the storm hit. Luckily I live on campus where their number 1 priority (especially during finals week) is to keep the juice flowing to the campus.

I just love how the trees and bushes look with the icicles all over them though. If my camera wasn't a piece of shit I'd be going crazy taking pictures. Oh well, enjoy it while it lasts I guess.
 
Just an update (well, the OFFICIAL update for my "ice storm" thread), but they finally got our power restored about 3 hours 18 minutes ago.
