Oh I really like Arpaio. I just dont think AZ should have to pay for it. If CA wants to defend them so badly then send them that way.

At least AZ's law has in it punishments for employers. Yet again, the state steps up and does the job the feds aren't doing.
 
ICE is an executive department, the head of ICE is a sub cabinet position, ICE is under DHS- and executive department the head of DHS is a cabinet level position. THIS IS OBAMA's policy and doing as both are directly under his control.
 
Then let the states do what they need to do to protect themselves.

What this is is a group of politicians who want the hispanic vote and they all feel that doing anything that would appear to be "against" illegal immigration will make them lose votes. So you're right, there is no consensus because everyone's more worried about keeping their job than doing what's needed for the country.

Yes. Sure. No...Arizona could have done a number of things. The recent immigration law, depending on how you look at it, was an implied request that someone poop in a hat.

Majority of these people have not commited a crime in their life, they just came over the border undocumented. I don't like Bush, lets just make that clear. Bush wanted to secure the border but the people who contributed to his campaign, large companies, did not want him to secure the borders.

Arizona is the first state to take a stance on immigration. I don't remember any moment, in my life, where this has been such a big issue. Really, if you are against deporting illegal immigrants then maybe you should mail your paycheck to Arizona to help support them.

They are well within their legal authority and policy to "defer" all deportation proceedings for anyone brought to them as a result of the AZ law.
 
nope, a state can only send UP TO 50% of their national guard out of state. They have to keep at least 50% available at all times.
 
So lock their asses up. Arizona can legally detain them since they are breaking a law by entering into this country. Your parents must be illegals, lol.
