I was really looking forward to going to the IB program this summer until I read all the scary things on the internet about how difficult it was. (I'm going into grade 9 IB Prep) Is the change from IB Prep (9,10) to actual IB (Grade 11,12) very big? Is the IB Prep it's self very hard? Some people advised other not it because they say "from experience" the program is "not worth your time." But it's kind of too late to back down, so I want a sincere idea of what to expect and how I can be prepared for it. Also if anyone can, please share experiences of their own in IB (e.g. doing the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, Daily assignments etc.).
