i95 ringer/speaker just failed

it just quit working just like that...
you cant hear the phone ring or hear people talking to you
on the dir.connect. Im gonna take it to a dealer but has this happened
to anyone else>?, just curious!!!!

have you had the phone for a while? the speaker probably just blew out...it happened to my phone.(not nextel...but same thing, couldnt hear the ringtone.)

The guy at the nextel place said
"you can't keep these phones on 7" (The Volume)

so I'm like, ok they made a phone that goes to 7
but you can't keep it there? whatever

so the just gave me the whole center piece of the phone
and it works again, atleast half the phone is not all beat up
anymore...

happens all the time...take it to an authorized service center...if you don't know where one is...look it up on nextel.com. you'll pay $35 and have a new speaker

better yet, get the nextel insurance its $2.99 a month and they dont charge you if there is a cost to repair it =)
