I860 Text Messaging problems

yeah they had me reset my ip more than once. They have also made me do a master reset pretty much everytime i call them and talk to a different person. And then each time i call the person tells me something different is wrong... I am confused and kind of mad that ive been payin for the service for a month and half and still am not able to send texts. I am really sick of being put on hold and not getting calls back. I might just cancel the service.

I do know that you will be able to get a credit for the time that the messaging has not worked but that is not what you are worried about. where did you buy the phone. if you bought it from a nextel store i would take it back and explain what is going on and ask them to swap it out with another phone and see if that works. did you ever have service on a phone other than this i860? if you do decide to cancel you service I may be interested in purchasing your phone.
 
I bought the phone from nextel. I called them up and ordered it so it wasnt from an actual store. Do you think exchanging the phone will do anything? Ill have to call and ask them i guess. I had service on a i90 and i95.
 
I am thinking that maybe it is a phone problem or possible they have the text messaging set up for a different phone, one other than a i860. I would go to an actual store and ask them to try your sim in another i860 and see if it works and if not have them look in the computer right in front of you and see that they have you listed on your account as having an i860 with text messaging service on your account.
 
Well they have confirmed over and over again that I have an I860 and that i have the messaging service everytime i call. I guess trying my sim in another phoen will tell if it is the phone or a problem through there network or watever. Thanks
