i8510 same problem cpu not supported..

i do as told in the manual same but getting cpu not supported..

done all this
1:Connect PSHOLD to VBAT with a 2K to 10K resistor
2:Power on I8510 while pressing KEY 7 and KEY * to enter into modem download mode
3.Check MSM_VREF whether has 2.6V otherwise power off and retry until there is 2.6V
4.Connect Omnia Repair Tool to pc
5.Connect JIG to Omnia Repair Tool
6.Run Qualcomm Tool Software
7.Click Scan Button and you will see CPUID and FlashID as it is in following picture

PS: OMap tool detect phone and can read flash..
 
It supposed to be connected to Qualcomm pinouts

Modem / Phone / Qualcomm the right side of the pads on the Keyboard.
Check I8510 connections for Modem in support area and what i think is you have connected I8510 directly to JIG and it did not recognize it
As you said OMAP tool Recognized because the pin outs are not same but just opposite of where you re using !

yes i do use gpg JIG for i8510 and same as shown in the picture.. removed the keypad and there is the points 16 pin sure the connections are connected well ..
 
where is the difference in both jtag pictures?
PSHOLD is connected to vbat with 4k7 resister..
 
yes you were right gpg jig only work for omap not for modem u need modify gpg jig.. now its done

for more details i attaching here picture hope it will help others
 
Electroboys IF YOU CAN REPAIR I8510 SHOULD CREATE VIDEO REPAIR FOR ALL WORLD BECAUSE NOT SUPPORTED
 
Until now no one in the not announced any phone to repair yourself you say only that you should restore 8510 for a movie can get this all fixed to be

PROBLEM WAS ON GPG JIG THAT PROVIDED WITH TOOL... NEED MODIFY JIG FOR MODEM PROGRAMMING AND ITS ALL...
