i830 CID color change

Ok, I am a newbie on doing stuff like this, i change housings, ringtones, and wallpapers, but I just am confused on this stuff. What exactly do you have to do, to just change the color of the CID screen in the front of the i830, I hope someone wouldn't mind just telling me how to do it cus all I like heard was it had to do with changing the codes or something in the phone.but idk, so help plze.....

It has nothing to do with changing codes. You select the color you want via a dropdown menu in the cp using an rss on a level higherl than carrier.
