i730 problems

ive been having problems with my 730 everytime someones sends me a text message i dont get it till like a
hour or 2 later. is anyone esle having this problem or does anyone know how to fix it

This is a known problem w/ NXTL TXT Messaging.

There is nothing that can be done, its the same way with all phones.

Heres what did, i told everyone to txt me 2 hours earlier than they normally would that way I could get the txt seemingly right on time. In all seriousness dont expect instants txts with your nextel, it wont happen very often

i got them on time when i had my 860, but fell off my clip and got ran over my a car (no insurince) so i had to get a 730

this happens to me all the time..i have an 860 and with t-mobile and cingular customers, it takes 1-2 hours to get a text message....but i've noticed that i get texts from verizon customer a lot quicker...almost instantly.

730 suck for txt the 860 is alot better but not perfect. try having people send you a txt with the entire address not just your phone number......
