i530 network problem

Ok guys, I've gotten SO frustrated with this phone. all I want to do, is put a simple ringtone from Nextels site on it, and every time I try to download one, it gives me a continous "network not avalable" message. my mom has the same exact phone, same plan and everything, and she's able to get access to the network, to do this while I'm stuck without the ability to even download a single friggin ringtone. Could someone PLEASE, tell me how to fix this?
 
Tried that today, it tells me " sorry this phone does not support these items." I'm tired, frustrated, and about to simply switch service providers. I need to be able to distinguish family and friends from customers, since I use this phone for business, and I cant even do that. the issues have angered me enough I'm done with it. its gonna get the 50 caliber sendoff soon.
 
Whatever your downloading is probably not compatible with your phone. For instance, your phone will only support midi ringtones, and not wav.
 
Well, I got to the download ringtones prompt on the phone, and it said nothing is supported. I'm kinda PO'd to say the least. in general, NOTHING is compatible according to the phone.
 
Ok, I would edit, but it seems there's like a 30 minute period in which one can edit one's post, and I was workin on something else for the better part of an hour.

I tried the simcard swap again, thanks, that worked alright, I had to order the tone from Nextel's site, but I got it on the phone. thanks guys. got what I needed.
