My 2-year Verizon contract ended in Jan. 2010 and I've gone back to Net10 prepaid. I want to make sure my Verizon account doesn't get reactivated if I sell the phone, either because a dishonest buyer might use my name/address when activating the phone or because Verizon might goof and reactivate my account instead of putting it on the new owner's. How can I make sure this doesn't happen?
