i would like to make salmon boiled potatoes and veg but how do i cook it?

hi well ive never cooked salmon before im going supermarket and buying a piece of fresh salmon problem is i dont know how the hell to cook it i want to eat boiled potatoes and veg with it if thats any help on which way to cook it i dont want to marinate it or use lemon or anything just want to cook it any advice on how to cook it or how long please help
