My fiance is Russian-American and he just laughs it off that I want to learn the language but I really do. Plus it will make his mom like me more 
. I'm starting from scratch and I've only got time to learn it myself. I heard after simplified & traditional han it's one of the hardest languages but Im giving it a try anyway but I don't only want to learn the language but the culture too. Could you recommend some tapes and books and what would make it easier for me plesse?
