...stereo itself in a car.? lets say this friend I have wants to do something malicious like stealing this guys stereo because its his next door neighbor and he tends to blast his stereo in either his home or his car which is like 5 feet to his stereo from his room and about 50 feet to this guys car. I mean its loud I spent the night and couldnt sleep at all. He said its like this almost every night and the cops dont / cant or want do anything about it. Now if I was a good friend I would tell em know dont do that its not right or I would say I will figure it out (and no earplugs dont work for bass). So here I am I want to know what it takes to fry someones speakers or stereo system. My friend talked to the guy, his wife, his brother, and his friend who lives there and they all told him to go have sex with himself in a not so polite one word.
 
try zapping the car with a stun-gun...or better yet just keep ordering a ton of pizza/chinese food/anything deliverable and have it all sent next-door...call the churches and send over preachers
 
Most likely you going get caught and then yall going get your azz kick because the guy going catch it in the act, best thing to do is deal with it or move or do whatever you got do but don't be stupid.
 
I know how you feel, but frying his speakers is the wrong answer because you get into trouble with the law.

Have you tried talking to the guy about good citizenship, like he not only has rights, however, if his rights infringe on your rights than that is wrong. Unfortunately, the people that use these boom boxes generally are the undereducated (that's as far as I want to go with the identification), so the only thing left is again the police, or otherwise take it to court.

If you are just renting in the neighborhood, it may also be easier to move.

Technically, the only way you could fry his speakers involves plasma, but I have no idea how that works and what the state of technology is.
