Ok, for those of you who do sports martial arts you must know the team pro-rank. I want to try and apply for their team I know they have scouts and such but I want their contact info because I know they probably also accept direct applications like AKA does (and if you have their contact info too that would be great) Also please try and tell me what they are looking for I compete regularly on the NASKA circuit along with a couple of locals to be nice to people we know and always do very well in the locals ( 1st and sometimes third, there are no seconds for me!) and I usually get 2nd, 3rd, and rarely 4th in NASKA. Also I do sparring I am not sure if pro rank allows sparring, know that they all do forms. The reason I say this is because I get all firsts in sparring and would not like to give it up. To the 2000- 3000 people who compete and know what I am talking about please answer.

Btw I am moving up to 12-13 boys Black belt divivision next year

You have to be a black belt to be on a team. You have to win 1st place consistently for a year in your specialty many times beating out other team members. You have to be a crowd favorite. You have to make a name for yourself.

When you get all this done you "may" qualify to make a team on the NASKA circuit...also it helps if you come from a school that is "recognized" as one of the best in their circuit. If not you probably will have a hard time making a team as it is very political.

I competed on NASKA for years when I was younger and beat a lot of the top team members every time I fought. When they finally asked me to be on a team I turned it down because they offered no real pay outs. It is not as great as one thinks and most of the teams are full of themselves anyway. NASKA has become a flashy sport circuit with no real martial arts essence anymore so I no longer compete on it. I would rather win because of skill than luck shots and smack talking.
