My tank has only 4 goldfishes, and one Pleco. i would like to add a fish since my tank is a 28 gallon and there is a lot of space for more. i don't want another goldfish. what kind of other fishes can i put into my tank?
can i add a koi fish?

2Q: What the water temperature for Goldfishes?

Hello! 4 Goldfish require a 50 gallon tank! Goldfish produce tons of ammonia and waste, and grow quite large.
A Pleco has no business in a Goldfish tank, anyway, he is a tropical fish. Goldfish are cold water fish (i.e. room temperature). Get a proper tank, rehome that Pleco, and read some books on aquarium keeping, you have a whole lot to learn.

I would not recommend adding anything else but goldfish. Koi get REALLY big and will definately outgrow your 28 gallon. In fact, with 4 goldfish and one pleco already...I wouldn't add anything else to your tank. The goldfish and pleco can get big (approx 10" each). Eventually they will outgrow your tank..if they don't die before then.

Ideal temp would be about 65F

You don't say exactly what kind of goldfish you have, but most varieties will grow to be at LEAST 6-8 inches. Plecos can grow to nearly two feet.
Because of this, I would not recommend putting any more fish in your tank. It may not seem like very many now, but they will grow!

Ideal water temperature for goldfish is 68-75 degrees, but since plecos like it on the warmer end, you should probably keep the temperature around 75.

Goldfish are coldwater fish that do not need heaters, you can not add anymore fish as you are already overcrowding them, 4 goldfish will need at least a 40 gallon tank with a strong filter. Upgrade first and then you will have more options.

Rather than asking what fish to add, you should be focusing on either rehoming, or upgrading your aquarium.

-Goldfish are best kept with other goldfish. Assuming you have fancy goldfish your aquarium should be about 50 gallons.
-Goldfish are not compatible with plecos. The pleco is a tropical fish.
-I would not keep goldfish any higher than 72F.
-Koi are pond fish and require 1000+ gallons. So no.
