...The contract ends on May 21st.? Leading up to now there have been very little talk about the contract renewal (We used to be tied to a subcontracter and they are the ones breaking ties on May 21. They were are bread and butter.) Anyway the boss held a meeting the other day and says that there is a new contract with a new subcontracter but that it hasnt been signed by the proper people yet, and that for 1 month after may 21st, we will be working on special projects till it does get signed. I am saying to myself, they've had MONTHS to sign this paperwork. Could the end be near for me and my coworkers?
