My hair used to be thicker and easy to work with. Then I decided I liked the long look so I wore glue-ins for several months, now my hair looks much thinner-- so much worse I don't know what to do with it now. I want my hair to look really good and at the same time recover from this damage. Any suggestions, tips ,ideas?

NO ICKY GLUE!

I hope you have a better outcome than I did. I wore glue extensions for almost 3 years. Finally I decided I wanted to go natural. Big surprise. The glue caused the hair follicles to die off. I am in my late 50s. No chance my cells could regenerate. Maybe if you are younger you have a chance.

Go to a dermatologist asap and find out what are the chances of the hair follicles producing hair again.

I am forced to wear a wig now for the rest of my life. Places like the Hair Club etc. always show the success stories. But when you face reality, more damage than good is usually the result.

Good luck.

Good luck.

I DID THE SAME THING! and I literally ripped out the back of my hair, so basically stop wearing glue extensions, the best thing to do is get your hair french braided and get it sewn in! it will grow your hair, my hair is longer and thicker then ever.. I get full head extensions and they last for months, get a few touch ups and your good. I would do this for about 3 months so your hair can get strength back, but if you cant for whatever reason DONT USE GLUE EVER AGAIN!!! its evil!
xoxo sunnie!
