liberal media about Obama's war? "Why are we there?... Afghanistan never attacked US."
"This war is lost."
"Where is the exit strategy?"
"This is another Viet Nam quagmire."
"This surge will fail."
"This is why the whole world hates us."
"Another illegal war, costing us trillions."
"I thought Obama promised to bring the troops home."
"This is Obama's war."
"This war is unwinnable."
"The Afghans don't want us there."
"The total number of U.S. casulaties in Obama's war is now...."
"The total number of civilian casulaties in Obama's war is now...."
"Our soldiers are dying for nothing."
"How long will we 'occupy' THIS country?"
"Our Marines are murderers."
"All these U.S. casulaties, and Bin Laden is still uncaptured."
"And yet ANOTHER country has denounced Obama's war."
"Anti-war demonstraters call Obama a murderer."
"How does Obama plan to pay for his war?"
"Obama is lying about the REAL reason for his war."
"None of the 9-11 terrorists were Afghanis."

ALL of this, and more, was said by the Libs about Bush, and "his war." NONE of it will be said about Obama, and his war. Nor will the Libs admit that the real reason Obama is doing this, is that he hopes to capture OBL (when Bush couldn't), become the Great Hero,and ensure that he will have a second term....and he is willing to sacrifice our soldiers lives for his political gain.
Laser: "Problem"?? Bin Ladin is a Saudi, or didn't you know? Just because he is hiding in Afghanistan, doesn't mean that Afghanistan attacked us.

Never. You're going to see how hypocritical the Libs, and their lackeys, the liberal media really are. Obama's war will be the greatest thing since high button shoes, and oh so justifiable, and warranted. Our casualities will mean nothing. No more braying EVERY night on CBS and NBC about the latest casualty figures. No more questions about "WHERE is the exit strategy?" Hussein better hope he catches OBL, because the way he is going now, he won't even be nominated in 2012.
 
President Obama is just another puppet. The real power behind the war is the people pulling his strings.
 
First of all, neither the Iraq war nor the war in Afghanistan are "obama's war"--please remember that Obama has inherited both wars from Bush who started them both--and the war in Afghanistan was justified by the fact that the Talliban housed Al Qeida and supported them, and that Al Qeida is blamed for the attack on NYC which destroyed the twin towers and abaout 3600+ lives. Clearly, when a country is attacked, retaliation has to be swift and forceful. The Iraq war was not legitimate, nevertheless, Bush started it, not Obama, and Obama has announced his timeline to bring the troops back--with some of them being deployed to Afghanistan.
There is a serious danger in a sudden withdrawl, so I believe that Obama's timeline is a more reasonable approach. Don't forget what happened in Vietnam after Nixon ended that war and drew the troops out suddenly and without precautions. A lot of people who have helped the Americans got tortured and killed, and I don't think that anyone wants to see something like this happen again---enough innocent lives have already been killed.
Next, paying for the wars will not be easy, especially not in these hard economic times. However, it is my understanding that the Iraq government is obligated to pay up with their oil revenues, and taking troops out--even on a timeline, will greatly reduce the cost before eliminating it. Once our troops are out of Iraq, it can be disastrous for them, but I do not believe so. I do believe that the entire situation in Iraq will calm down once everything is resituated--unlike Afghanistan where the Talliban are trying to get back into power. Afghanistan to me, is the unwinnable war. The former Soviet Union fought there for 25 years without success. The Talliban are religious extremist who will not give up--and so it is my belief that Mr. Obama is right by ordering more troops to Afghanistan---Al Qeida's religious belief is that all "infidels" must be destroyed so that Allah will come back to earth--and they will fight with any means necessary--and we need to restrain them and make sure that they cannot get a hold of Pakhistan's nukes--because that is the real danger about Afghanistan. This war has gotten a little too close to Pakhistan and we simply cannot afford to lose it.

Since Obama is willing to invest a lot of money to get the economy in our country going again would I say that in the future we can pay for the war in Afghanistan--right now it looks bleak because people are out of jobs--but don't forget that when you get back into business you invest--you borrow the money if you have to, and then you pay it back with the revenues you get from your business--it works the same way with the government now---invest heavily into the future and then, when people get jobs and make money again, taxes will flow into the governments cash register enabling it to pay for the debt incurred.

But....the bottom line is that Obama inherited both wars--neither one of those wars is his--he got to deal with it, and he is doing the best he can to stick to his promise to withdraw the troops from Iraz.....

OBL was hiding out there. Afghanistan harbored him.
 
You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. People were against the war in Iraq because we went right after 911 as a war on terror to the US, when the real danger was ignored. Our allies were upset about it(which put us at greater risk). I didn't know one person who was upset about us going to Afghanistan right after 911. It was only Iraq.
 
So, you think that:

1. Obama started the Afghanistan war.
2. That a country that supports Islamic fundamentalist terrorists is the same as a military dictatorship that executes Islamic fundamentalists and was the sworn enemy of 'Al Qaeda.

I see I'm dealing with a genius here...
 
'His war?" man you are just helping divide this nation. People said that about Bush and you obviously thought that was wrong, but now you are doing the same thing to Obama. How can you say that Obama wants to kill Bin Laden just so he can get re-elected, when Bin Ladn wants to kill us and our families, and any president would want to stop that... people like you really mak me consider suicide... i fought for this country and now i don't know....please stop pointing your finger and support OUR president
