As I predicted, as soon as school started i would't be able to visit wtf as much. I hate having to waste all my time studying and educating myself. Why can't i just bullshit with eveyone else online. So yeah I just started College and it sucks. Everyone is stuck up and no one wants to be your friend. To top it all off, your always getting lost and ending up late to class. The worse thing of all is the price of the text books. OMG im not rich. This shit gets paid for out of pocket. I hate all those spoiled financial aid students who only get a 2.5 GPA and think its cute to waste gov't money i can put to good use. The worse part of it all is I'm surrouned by Ugly ass dudes. This semester looks like its going to be a sad a pathetic one. :thumbsdn:

Where do you go to school? See I made it a point not to go to a college that would resemble my high school in any sort of way. If it is a large school.. it's going to have cliques. If it is a public school it's going to have cliques. If it is a state school it's going to be another highschool. If I were you I'd transfer to a smaller private school, or at least look into it. I go to an art college with 1300 people there. 350 people in my class and I know pretty much all of them. Sometimes I am late to class, but some of my teachers are laid back. It's very strict when it comes to lateness and absenses. If I miss 3 of one class I fail. 3 lates equal an absense. 5 minutes equals late. But some of my teachers give me a break. I go to 7 hours of class each day with 10 minute breaks in between.
I am really interested in where you go and what it's like, cuz so far, I love my school.

I go to Kingsborogh community college because thats all i can afford for now. Its in brooklyn new york . the only thing fun about my school it that its on the water so we have a beach behind the cafeteria and we feed the seagulls so they can kill each other over it. but other than that its suxs for now.

I live on the island...you may want to look at some of the colleges here. We have plenty of good ones...like NYIT, Stony Brook, Farmingdale, etc. The state colleges out here are quite good, from what I have heard. Stony Brook is expensive and exclusive, but Farmingdale is pretty laid back. I know someone who says Farmingdale is pretty good. Needless to say, he goes there.

yeah..private schools suck....well they dont...they rock ass...they just suck cuz not very ppl can afford them...hmm...[thikning to myself: if they werent that exclusive...they wouldnt necesarily(sp) be private..] anyways...i was goin to a private Aeronautics School....i had scholarships and fin aid....but thanks to the party life...and other stupid shit i did i fucked it up...im now setup at a CC here in town...peice of advice for anyone who plans to transfer to a state school....best thing to do ...take general eds at local CC.....first check to see what transfers and get them out of the way...i payed 25 grand for general ed classes i coulda taken at home for free....acutally i reviced local scholarships for local schools...and would have gotten paid to go to school....tsk tsk tsk...i fucked up...anyways....next sem..im transfering to NMSU...New Mexico State Univ....finishing up ME/AE degree....

i think your a little too optimistic, try feeling sorry for yourself and see if some people come to sympathize..lol j/k..

look for some clubs or some sort of organization that you may be interested in, to find people who you could mesh well with.

I go to Ohio University Southern. Nice small school, around 2000 students, and most of the people around here are a lot nicer than I expected. I haven't really made any friends yet, but it wouldn't be very hard to, since the ratio of assholes to nice people seems to have changed dramatically from when I was in high school. I'm kinda getting to know some people, and it wasn't as big of a shock as I was expecting it to be on the first day. At first I was looking at either Wright State in Dayton or UC in Cincinnatti, but they're both huge schools, and that didn't appeal to me at all, not to mention they didn't have my major... so yeah, I eventually decided to go here, been here for three weeks and it's been great.
As far as tuition goes, I got a full ride for my freshman year for scoring a 27 on the ACT
Anyway, good luck to you. Maybe you could eventually transfer somewhere else where you'd be happier, and maybe could get more financial aid.

Ohio University Southern is in the southernmost tip of Ohio in a city called Ironton. I moved 150 miles from home to come to school out here (I used to live about 30 miles north of Cinci) but I think it was worth it. Kinda nice to be out on my own, but lonely being so far from family sometimes.

Thats probablly what bothered me the most....leaving home...i missed my family...friends..the food....free food...:/ i also missed the chicks...it was like 1F to 15M ratio.....i got lucky and got a cute gf the first sem....but yeah it sucks being away from home....
