going against my rights? My wife of 14 year got mad at me and told me to get out of the house. I told her as long as we are Married I didn't have to. Well she being mad called the police and told them I hit her ( NOT TRUE) She thought all she had to do is drop the charges and it would go away. We went to Court on this and this Judge told her no, she could not drop the charges and Court will began on this matter now. I told the Judge I was not guilty and I would like to hire a Lawyer to defend me ... He looked at me and said NO!!! And looked over at my wife and said " Lady this man is going to kill you like O.J. The police officer also lied in court stating he had been at my home twice for a Domestic call, He has only been there once to my home or any other Officer and that was to arrest me on this charge. I looked at my wife and said this is not right, I have the right to have a Lawyer to defend me. The Judge ask me what I had to say for myself..I stated I will say nothing till I speak to an Attorney...He looked at me and said ...I sentence you to 180 days in Jail .. Starting now...Told the Police Officer to get me out of his sight ...I was smart to say I would like to appeal your ruling before they got me out of the Court Room ...That Judge looked at me with a hateful look and said granted ....Now I had to post an Appeal bond ....I'm still out on bond till I hear from county Court...I was told by everyone that this Judge Railroaded my Civil Rights ...Should I file a Civil Rights Law suit on this Judge or Can he do that? I never been in trouble, I never hit my wife ....What should I do? John V. Robertsdale, Alabama
