I went fisheing and i caught a cat fish with one eye.?

I went fishing and i pulled up a cat fish with one eye. Also the cat fish had black, grey, and brown squares. It looked like a mix of a texas flathead cat fish and a black bull head cat fish but i caught it in the Ohio River and since im only 13 i havent seen anything like that before and i was just wandering why it had one eye
