first of all, don't panic, its normal to leave some residue in the tub after doing this. what you should do is rinse the tub again, but this time with hot water. after this is done for about 20 mins, scrub with a clean brush towards the drain to release any that may have gotten stuck or dried. this should do the trick. your best bet next time, use the foam spray, it works better.
